Travel

Hudson is accessible by train. If you are coming from D.C. or New York City you can easily take the train into the Hudson (HUD) Amtrak station. You won’t need a car in town either! The Caboose and the Wick Hotel are directly across the street from the station (literally a 2 minute walk) and the main downtown strip is also walkable.

The best way to fly to Hudson is through Albany International Airport (about 35 miles away) or either New York City airport. Though LaGuardia is physically closer to Hudson, it is easier to get to Hudson through JFK by taking the AirTrain to Penn Station and catching the Amtrak.

Driving to Hudson from NYC or other East Coast cities is relatively easy. Parking is readily available and mostly free, even in Hudson’s downtown area. It’s important to note that Uber and Lyft are not reliable forms of transportation in Hudson.
